LOTI Skills Session: GDPR Workshops for Data Professionals

This workshop will cover the principles of data protection and how they relate to the work of data analysts and data project leads. This allows those with more data protection knowledge to get as much value as those with less existing knowledge. 

The first half covers the data protection principles and compliance requirements. The second half looks more specifically at a case study and activities such as data lakes and single views, along with advice on how to incorporate your knowledge into your role, organisational structure and processes, and recommendations for working with your council’s data protection and cyber security specialists. We touch on AI too.

Attendees must have completed their council’s mandatory data protection and cyber security e-learning within the last 12 months.
All sessions are in person at the London Councils offices near Bank and Monument station.

It’s a full day session starting at 9.30am. Kindly bring lunch along with you. 

Attendance is free as part of a LOTI membership.
