London Health Mission Immersive Event
Step into the future of digital opportunities in health at this immersive event hosted by LOTI, London local government's collaborative innovation team, on behalf of the London Health and Care Partnership.
We warmly invite you to this in-person event, where through immersive experiences and real stories, we'll explore what health and care could look like if digital health services were built around the Londoners they currently leave behind.
About the event
This event is part of the London Health Mission, a cross-sector commitment to significantly close the gap in health inequalities in our city, utilising London's innovation and digital transformation opportunities by 2035.
We know that many Londoners are missing out on health and care because of services moving online. Our hypothesis is that if we design digital health initiatives around the people usually left behind, we can close the gaps for everyone.
This event brings together what we’ve learned as part of the Mission over the past six months. This includes workshops with practitioners and leaders from across the NHS, boroughs and VCS who support people with lived experience and in conversation with Londoners. Now we want to test our thinking on how we respond to this insight. We will do so by bringing to life Londoners voices and what we’ve prototyped with a university partner and around 80 of their students.
Your ideas will inform where the Mission goes next.
What you can expect on the day
This will be an experiential and interactive day. In the morning, you'll be immersed in the journeys of Londoners who can’t access digital health and care and explore what interventions and changes might lead to a better future. In the afternoon, you'll help steer where the Mission should focus and what we take forward.
It will also be an opportunity to meet people you wouldn't normally cross paths with, from the boroughs, the NHS, the voluntary and community and private sectors.
Who should attend
This event is intended for all practitioners and leaders from London boroughs, NHS, other health organisations, voluntary and community sector and private sector who work in areas that impact on health and care.
This is an important mission for our city - we hope you can get involved.
