LOTI Data Practitioners Network: Good Data Citizenship
Good data citizenship principles - a review of the principles we wrote together at London Data Week 2026
Session Overview
The GLA Data for London programme will introduce the Good Data Citizenship Principles that were developed with London Data Week 2026 participants.
We worked with data providers, data accessors, data guardians and Londoners to develop the Good Data Citizenship Principles because a self-regulating data ecosystem requires shared norms and mutual accountability. By defining the principles together, we created a representative understanding of what good data citizenship looks like for those involved in the London data ecosystem.
This session is an opportunity to review the principles, ask questions, and share your suggestions before they're finalised.
