Beginner Class

Ready to learn Mahj? Join us for Mahj School at Moo, a fun, relaxed evening designed especially for brand-new players!

You’ll learn the basics of American Mahjong from a local, experienced Mahjongg player, with plenty of hands-on instruction and guided play. Small bites are included throughout the evening.

Once you’ve learned the game, you’ll be ready to join us for Mahj Monday at Moo, our monthly social open-play nights at Moo Creamery!

Your evening includes:
• Beginner Mahjong instruction + guided play
• Small bites from Moo Creamery
• All Mahjong sets and supplies needed for class
• A 2026 National Mah Jongg League card provided for use during the evening

Want your own card?  2026 NMJL cards are available for purchase- just add to your cart and we will have your card available  at the event so you can take one home and keep playing!

Ticket Policy: Tickets are non-refundable. Tickets may be transferred to another player with prior authorization.
