‘Moonlight Kayak - Cadhc faoi sholas na Gealaí’ is a rare opportunity to take to the River Foyle in a guided tour at twilight and into the early hours of darkness. In the course of this tour the sun will set and the moon will rise. The full Spring tide, flowing strongest at this time of month, will be on your side as you move with it down-river. From Prehen to Culmore, experience how the City nestles into a bend in the river and the green countryside and river ecology book-ends the mighty Abhainn Fheabahail.

Departing from Prehen Boathouse and returning to Culmore Point

Pre-booking is essential. Booking will close one hour in advance.

Suitable for ages 12+. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult parent or guardian also taking part in the activity.
