Foyle Race

Feel the thrill of competition at the Foyle Paddlers Annual Race, hosted to coincide with the Foyle Maritime Festival. Paddlers from across the island will take on the River Foyle in a series of exciting races, with three distances running simultaneously:

Race 1: Prehen Boathouse to Craigavon Bridge and back

Race 2: Prehen Boathouse to Peace Bridge and back

Race 3: Prehen Boathouse to Foyle Bridge and back

Participants must be competent for paddling in this river environment and are advised to contact Foyle Paddlers via their Facebook page before booking. An additional race insurance fee will apply for non-members of Paddle NI or the Irish Canoe Union (ICU).
