Father Christmas At Enys 2024

The Big Kids Grotto is a more sparkly , evening experience which is aimed for families with a diverse age range of children, grandparents,
new parents, family groups and friends. It is aged up slightly for older children to enjoy the magic of Christmas for that bit longer. It has a
Christmas beverage bar where the adults can enjoy traditional festive drinks as part of your Grotto experience. Non alcoholic and child
friendly drinks are also on offer. The session lasts 1 hour and is perfect for everyone, no matter your age.

Enys House welcomes you and your family to meet Father Christmas and his enchanted woodland helpers for a magical festive storytelling experience.

Enys House is once again transformed into a magical enchanted wonderland filled with festive cheer. A 45 minute enchanted journey thru Enys house where you will enjoy family crafts and activities, festive photo opportunities and a very special magical storytelling, told by Father Christmas himself where each child will be gifted a very special memento present. Suitable for all ages , a traditional heartfelt Christmas experience for all to enjoy.

Please note as these sessions are in the evening you will not be able to visit the gardens as it will be dark and the gardens will be closed. 

Event FAQ - Important please read

• Entry is one ticket per entry. Meaning everybody attending the Grotto must have a ticket. Children and adults all must have a ticket. Exception being Babes in arms/ under 1's Free.
• The experience lasts 45 minutes. The time on your ticket is the start and finish time. Please make sure you are at the door of the house at the start time.
  
• The post code TR10 9LB will take you to the Enys Gardens car park. Enys House is short 5 minute walk down the path from the car park. Follow the signs and festoon lights to take you along the right track. Please bear this in mind when planning your journey.
• 
  
  • The Christmas experience will last 45 mins -please make sure you arrive on time for your timed entry slot. We will do our very best to accommodate latecomers but entry cannot be guaranteed if you arrive late for your booked time slot.
  • All Children MUST be accompanied by a parent/ guardian.

• The Ticket is entry to the Christmas grotto only. Food and drink is able to be purchased separately.
  
• The main Gardens are normally closed during December, however during the Grotto dates if you wish to enjoy the outdoors after your experience you are welcome to walk the main paths if you wish. Please Note: Some areas of the gardens will be closed due to steep terrain and slippery conditions during winter. In the interests of safety please stick to the designated open paths only and do not enter the areas of the gardens that are closed.
• Please NO Dogs within the Grotto. As this is a shared experience, Dogs are Not allowed inside the House to meet Father Christmas. This is for the safety and enjoyment of everyone attending. HOWEVER Dogs on leads are Welcome to visit the gardens after the grotto event.
  

• The venue is situated within a rural setting of a country estate. Please NOTE: The House itself is seasonally cool and the walk from the car park can be muddy. Check the Weather forecast before arriving and appropriate warm and wet weather gear is advised as necessary.

• This is a shared experience - meaning you will be sharing your time in the grotto with other families. If your family requires a quieter experience - we are offering quieter sensory sessions which you may wish to book instead.
  

• The car park at Enys is limited for space - please car share where possible.
• Tickets are non refundable once purchased. However you are able to re -schedule and make changes to your order via your original booking ref. Subject to availability. Simply click the "manage my Booking" link on the main booking page, enter your email that you used to make the purchase. A unique code will be sent to that email for you to reschedule.
• The event is held within a forested area. In the event of adverse weather (Especially winds above 45 mph) the event may need to be cancelled. If this happens we will do our best to re schedule tickets, if this is not possible a full refund will be given to affected ticket holders.
• Hot drinks and Sweet treats will be on offer outside the house from Espresso Cornwall for you to purchase before or after your experience.
  
• PLEASE NOTE: Each child will receive a special memento gift from Father Christmas. This is NOT a toy. Please supervise all children at all times.
