🎄 What to Expect at the Enys Light Trail 🎄

🕯️ A self guided story-tale Light Trail
Suitable for all ages and abilities - The trail is all on one level. Short enough for the youngest and oldest alike and captivating enough to entertain one and all. Follow the festoon-lit path leading through the Granite acorn entrance. Read the signs and bring your sense of imagination and wonder

🌿The trail is most suited for those who have booked onto the Grotto experience as the themes and story compliments one another.  The trail is calm and nature focused with whimsical touches and characterful lanterns.  This is not a flashy fairy light heavy trail nor is it the scale of Heligan which has been going for 15 plus years. This is year 1. Handmade, nature focused, heartwarming and beautiful. Designed to encourage family memory making and conversation.

🐾 Dogs Welcome
Well-behaved dogs on short leads are welcome. Please take any dog waste to the bin in the car park.

🎟️ Session times
Your session time is an indication of how long we imagine you would spend enjoying the trail. Some families do it quicker - some take longer. In winter all of nature slows down we encourage you to read the story points, enjoy the lantern scenes and environment they are placed. Each Installation is handmade using willow and traditional lantern methods. You are welcome to walk the trail for as long or as many times as you wish:)

🌧️ All-Weather Event
The Light Trail runs in all weather conditions — rain or shine!
In cases of severe weather (e.g. high winds or lightning), the event may be rescheduled for safety reasons. We'll notify you in advance if this occurs.

♿ Accessibility
The trail is suitable for:

• Prams and pushchairs
• Wheelchair users
• Visitors with impaired mobility

Please note: While the route is accessible, it is a natural garden path — be aware of puddles, uneven ground, or unexpected obstacles, especially at night.

🎅 Grotto Tickets
Please note: Grotto tickets do NOT include access to the Light Trail Nor Light Trail ticket does NOT include access to the Grotto.
Each event is a separate ticketed experience — please ensure you have purchased the correct ticket for the correct event. If you want to book a combined Grotto and Light Trail ticket for the same day please click here

If you are a carer and require a carers ticket - send us an email events@lovebitecreative.co.uk with proof of eligability and we will refund you 50% of your carer ticket.

ℹ️ FAQs

🕔 Opening Hours:

• First entry: 4:30 PM
• lights off: 7:30 PM

🚗 Car Parking:

• Car park closes at 8 PM
• Car Park Spaces are limited — please car share where possible and visit during your alloted session.
• Ensure you exit by 8 PM

🥤 Refreshments:

• Drinks and snacks available outside the house, before you enter the trail.
• Espresso Cornwall - Serving mulled wine, coffee, hot chocolates and sweet treats. 

🚻 Toilets:

• Located at the end of the trail, in the main toilet block.
• 🌪️Adverse Weather - Cancellation 
• • In adverse weather (e.g. winds above 45mph), the event may need to be cancelled.
    
    • If your session needs to be cancelled will aim to reschedule tickets, offering a new Session time.
    • If this is not possible, a full refund via Credit Voucher will be issued - redeemable for future events - valid 12 months.
    • Tickets are non refundable. If you wish to re schedule you can do so via "Manage my Booking up to 7 days prior to ticket booking.
