Once again, the historic house will be transformed into an enchanted wonderland, filled with festive cheer and heartwarming Christmas magic.

✨ The Enys Light Trail 2025 ✨

For the first time, Father Christmas invites you to step into the enchanted gardens of Enys after dark.

🌟 The Trail Experience

• A self guided illuminated walk through the magical winter gardens

• Enchanting lantern scenes +  illuminated gardens all stitched together with a heartwarming festive story.

• Beautiful winter photo opportunities and a story that complements Father Christmas’s grotto tale

• Dogs on leads are welcome (please use the bins provided for waste)

The trail is suitable for prams, wheelchairs, and those with impaired mobility. Please be aware of puddles and uneven ground at night.

🌙 Evening Experience – Grotto + Light Trail

Why not enjoy the full evening of festive magic?

• Book a combined ticket for both the Grotto and the Light Trail.

• The Light Trail must be walked after your Grotto session on the same day.

• Last entry: 8pm | Lights out: 8:30pm | Car park closes: 9:00pm

📌 Event FAQ – Important Information

🎟️ Tickets & Entry

• Everyone requires a ticket (children & adults).

• Children under 18 months: FREE, but still require a ticket (no gift).

• Adults wishing to receive a gift: please book a Child Ticket and enter your name.

• QR Code = one ticket per person for entry to either the Grotto or Light Trail.

• Tickets are non-refundable, but you can reschedule (subject to availability up to 7 days prior to your ticket date).

• Affordability discount - if you would love to bring your family to Christmas at Enys but the price is a little out of reach - send us an email to events@lovebitecreative.co.uk and we will send you a discount code valid against Child tickets.

• If you require a carer ticket - send an email to events@lovebitecreative.co.uk with proof of eligbility and we will refund 50% price of your carer ticket.

⏰ Timings

• Grotto: 45 minutes (please arrive on time — late entry cannot be guaranteed).

• Light Trail: Stroll at your own pace. Entry is after your grotto.

• You can do the trail more than once if you wish.

📍 Location

• Postcode: TR10 9LB → Enys Gardens car park.

• Enys House is a 5-minute short walk from the car park (lit with festoon lights - walk thru the acorn entrance).

👨‍👩‍👧 Families & Gifts

• All children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

• Each child receives a keepsake memento (not a toy).

• Gifts cannot be given to children under 18 months.

🐾 Dogs

• Not allowed inside the grotto or house.

• Welcome on leads in the gardens and Light Trail.

🌦️ Weather & Setting

• Enys is a rural estate — paths may be muddy, the house is seasonally cool.

• Dress warmly and wear suitable footwear.

• In adverse weather (e.g. winds over 45mph or lightning), the event may be cancelled. 

  • • If your session needs to be cancelled we will aim to reschedule tickets, offering a new Session time.
    • If this is not possible, a full refund via Credit Voucher will be issued - redeemable for future events.

🚗 Parking

• Limited parking available — please car share where possible.

• Car Park Closes at 9pm.

☕ Food & Drink

• Hot drinks and sweet treats available outside the house from Espresso Cornwall.

• Smashed tomato Pizza Will be serving hot food outside the house from Saturday 13th December.

• Toilets are located at the end of the Light Trail next to the stable block.
