Living and Dyeing Colour project -Saturday 8th August, 1.30 pm-3.00 pm

We are very excited to be hosting our first natural dyeing talk and workshop with Sue Craig & Sally Garrett.

Sue Craig is truly passionate about keeping this ancient craft alive and passing on the knowledge of not only growing and cultivating your own natural dye garden but also how to turn that into a rainbow of colours that can be used on a multitude of fabrics!

This workshop will be a wonderful opportunity to see another aspect of nature's abundance.

To start the session, Sue Craig will be giving a short talk on this heritage craft, how to get started and offering a Q&A. Followed by an interactive workshop with both Sue Craig & Sally Garrett, where you can try out the natural dyeing process on wool and cloth with woad or indigo powder.

A big thank you to Sue Craig & Sally Garrett, who are offering their time for free for this event. We invite you to make a donation when you book your place, and all funds raised will go towards covering material costs and our ongoing community and outreach projects at Lovebrook.
