Description

Biodynamic Psychotherapy recognises the relationship of the mind, the body and energy.

Using Psychoperistalsis, particular sound from the guts we use to guide the work listening to the inner wisdom of the body.

On this weekend, we will explore the nature of the interrelationships and the impact each aspect has on the person.

For example, the body stores issues and experiences, such as hurt, unresolved anger or trauma in tensions of membranes or muscles and then it forgets that its done this, often as adults we feel deadened ,numb or exhausted all the time.

Another aspect of this is the body posture created and a way of experiencing life and situations through these.

We still have a deeper knowing that this is not who we are and that life can be different, yet we are locked unconsciously inside a system designedly us as a protection, as we developed through childhood.

One aim of Biodynamic Psychotherapy is to bring an increase in blood flow and energy into this armoured tissue, through massage, movement,or breath work, inviting the releasing of tension and that which is being held to be feed up, working consciously with the ‘forgotten’ material, bringing about subtle, profound and permanent change.

In this weekend we will explore the work experientially ,tasting the nature of the work and gaining an insight into the fundamental theories of Biodynamic psychotherapy.
