About Jennifer Weiss-Wolf
Jennifer Weiss-Wolf is an attorney, author, and leading voice at the intersection of gender, health, and public policy. She serves as executive director of the Birnbaum Women’s Leadership Center at NYU School of Law and previously held senior roles at the Brennan Center for Justice. She also guides partnerships and strategy at Ms. magazine. A prolific writer and advocate, she has been recognized as the “architect of the U.S. campaign to squash the tampon tax” and an “architect of change.” Weiss-Wolf has brought her expertise on menstruation, menopause, and the law to the White House, Congress, and legislative bodies nationwide. Her work has appeared in major outlets including the New York Times, Washington Post, TIME, and NPR. She is the author of Periods Gone Public and co-author of A Citizen’s Guide to Menopause Advocacy. Her new book, When In Menopause, arrives in October 2026. Jennifer also serves on the Board of Directors of Let's Talk Menopause.
