Breaducation!
Tue 21 Feb 2023 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM GMT
Online, Zoom
Description
Tuesday 21st February 7.30 - 8.30pm
'BREADUCATION!' because everyone deserves great bread.
The first event in our NEW Sustainable Stories Series!
Kitty Tait (founder of Kitty’s Kits and The Orange Bakery, author of Breadsong) joins Chiltern's Nutritionist Lucy Williamson and Rebecca Fleckney, author of the Chilterns Recipe Book, to talk all about bread. You’ll hear Kitty’s story – from being a teenager crippled by depression to baking supremo and acclaimed author. Find out how and why Kitty is on a mission to get as many people baking as possible.
Nutritionist Lucy Williamson will teach you how to get started with sourdough (it’s easy!) and why this kind of bread is so good for us. With plenty of time for questions too!
FIND OUT MORE ABOUT OUR EVENTS:
Nourish Chilterns brings you “Sustainable Stories”. These events are run by Chilterns Nutritionist and former Vet, Lucy Williamson and Rebecca Fleckney, author of the Chilterns Recipe Book.
Every month you’ll meet one of our Chilterns producers – from winemakers to farmers, bakers to cheesemakers. You’ll learn practical tips based on scientific evidence about how to eat well - for you and our planet.
HOW DOES IT WORK:
The best news of all? We want as many people as possible to enjoy, learn and eat better from the events so our online events run via Zoom are FREE!
