Meet the Speakers:

Frances Castillo is the founder and CEO of Project 73, a boutique HR and People Operations consultancy based in New York City. A first-generation Latina of Dominican descent, born and raised in New York, Frances brings both cultural pride and a deeply human perspective to her work.

With over a decade of experience supporting small-to-midsize businesses, founders, and creative brands, she specializes in helping leaders build workplaces that are both compliant and culture-driven. Known for her people-first approach, blending legal know-how with empathy and practical tools. Frances makes complex compliance issues accessible and empowers entrepreneurs to feel confident in their role as employers.

Her offerings range from HR Power Hours and workshops to full-scale consulting engagements, always guided by her mantra: “We put the HUMAN in Human Resources.” When she’s not advising clients, Frances is mama to a spirited toddler girl, building a life and business rooted in community, culture, and keeping it human.

Vonmarie Thomas is a Fractional CFO and Bookkeeper based in New York City (The Bronx). She specializes in supporting service-based businesses, creators, real estate investors, and nonprofits by building clarity around their numbers so they can scale with confidence. With expertise spanning from complex multi-entity structures to scenario planning and forecasting, Vonmarie helps her clients transform financial data into actionable strategy.

Her insights and expertise have been featured in multiple publications, and she has appeared as a guest speaker on social media platforms, at in-person events, and on podcasts. This year she recorded her first podcast episode live at FinCon, adding her voice to the broader financial conversation.

A self-described “money nerd,” one of Vonmarie’s most memorable experiences this year was attending the Berkshire Hathaway annual meeting where Warren Buffett announced his retirement, an unforgettable moment for a lifelong admirer of his wisdom. Beyond the world of finance, she embraces creativity and movement, whether dancing Brazilian Funk, watercolor painting, or channeling her discipline into bodybuilding at the gym.
