The Grief We Don’t Talk About

Grief isn’t limited to the loss of a loved one. It lives in the quiet, often unspoken experiences of change—the end of a relationship, a shift in identity, a health challenge, a career transition, or simply life not unfolding the way we expected.

Many people don’t even realize they’re grieving because we’ve been taught to associate grief only with death.

And yet, we’re expected to keep performing. To stay focused. To “leave it at the door.”

This talk challenges that narrative.

In this grounded and deeply human session, Sweta Vikram—mindfulness teacher, Ayurvedic doctor, grief coach, adjunct professor, wellness author, and international speaker—explores how grief quietly impacts our energy, focus, decision-making, and relationships at work.

Blending Ayurvedic wisdom, nervous system science, and trauma-informed practices, this session offers a whole-person approach to navigating loss—one that acknowledges grief not just as an emotional experience, but as something that lives in the body and shapes how we show up every day.
