It's Not You, It's New York: How to Successfully Navigate the Dating Landscape (A Guide for Single Career Women)

Wed Jul 15, 2026 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM EDT

Let's face it: if you're a woman in NYC, you've likely "given up" on dating more than once. It's a vicious cycle: you go on a string of bad dates, you take a break to reset, then get back into the game with more gusto—but you're still disappointed by the dates (and the men) again and again.

Sound familiar?

At some point, the cycle has to stop.

I'm a matchmaker and a dating coach who has listened to dozens of successful women across New York, and I started to identify specific patterns I wasn't seeing in my other clients. The first—and arguably the most important—is just how difficult the dating landscape in New York actually is for high-achieving women. From the app algorithms to the shrinking dating pool to the time tax, men's socialization to the city environment itself, there are plenty of external reasons why women are finding it increasingly challenging to find partners worthy of their time, effort, and success.

In this workshop, I'll let you in on my observations and the secrets to navigating the New York dating landscape without settling or compromising on what matters the most to you. It's a complete and honest picture of the powers that are shaping your experience, drawn from psychology, the social sciences, and political theory—plus, you'll leave with the tools to create a better dating experience and the knowledge to meet your perfect match.
