In this nurturing workshop, you’ll craft a remembrance talisman – a personal object that serves as both keepsake and emotional anchor. Blending the protective resonance of traditional talismans with the act of memorialising someone significant, your talisman will become an object of memory and remembrance.
This workshop is reflective, hands-on, and held in a safe, supportive space to talk about death, process grief, celebrate life, and keep stories alive.
Materials are provided. We also invite you to bring photographs or small objects (jewellry, trinkets etc), including fabrics, that resonate with the person you wish to remember. We will send further details once signed up

About Luna Arts
A community arts organisation founded by visual artists Wendy Pye & Dagmara Rudkin, that delivers art workshops that promote well-being, including encouraging conversations on challenging topics to support mental health.
In February 2025, Luna Arts was awarded a one-year Arts Council project grant to research contemporary beliefs, attitudes, and rituals surrounding funerals, life ceremonies, and memorialisation. The project involves developing & piloting workshops that use creative expression to facilitate challenging conversations about mortality and legacy, helping participants process emotions and articulate thoughts on death and dying.
