Neurodiversity Awareness Training for Shiatsu Society Members

This is an Introductory training for Members of the Shiatsu Society UK, curious about understanding more about Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and other Neurodivergent conditions which may be showing up in your practice!

This ​interactive, online training is designed to provide a supportive space for Shiatsu Practitioners to learn and understand more about neurodiversity and how it may show up in your practice. To help you work confidently and adapt your practice to recognise and really support your neurodivergent clients.

Whether you are new to working with neurodivergent clients or have experience in this area, this training aims to foster a collaborative and inclusive environment. You will learn more about how to recognise and support clients who may be neurodivergent; they may suspect or already have a diagnosis of an Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Dyspraxia (also known as DCD), Dyslexia, Tourette's Syndrome, etc. this training helps you to understand how  that might impact them, and how to adapt practice to be inclusive and effective. 

As well as understanding more about each of the conditions mentioned above, you will learn how to confidently adapt  practice to suit their needs
