What is Lúnasa?

On the Wheel of the Year, Lúnasa or Lughnasadh (pronounced LOO-nah-sah), celebrated on August 1st,
is the mid-point between the Summer Solstice and the Fall Equinox.
It is the first harvest festival, honoring the early grain harvest and the waning summer sun,
and inspiring the themes of sacrifice and gratitude.

It’s a time that we gather and feel the strength of our community,
and are reminded that we're not alone and that our tribe together is stronger than the sum of its parts.
It’s a wonderful time to take stock of how the seeds we’ve sown have sprouted and blossomed through the year,
and to celebrate that growth together.

Of course, people of all spiritual paths, religions, and philosophies are more than welcome!
There will be daily Rituals around the bonfire at sunset to honor this turn of Nature’s Wheel,
and all are welcome to participate if they wish.

Where is Lúnasa Cascadia?

Lúnasa Cascadia 2026 is located at a private campground in Beavercreek, OR (40 minutes southeast of Portland).

The Hollow is a deeply magical, faerie-filled place with luscious, mossy woods and old-growth cedars…
And includes the healing waters of Elder Pond, which is ideal for swimming!

The address and directions to the grounds will be made available with ticket purchase.
Space is limited and tickets will sell out this year, so there will be no ticket sales at the Gate.

A Lúnasa Map will be available at the festival.

There are stores within a 15 minute drive of the campground if you need to replenish any supplies during the event.

Can I bring my pets?

Please do not bring pets to the festival, the private campground has a thriving community of cows and goats,
and other feathery and furry creatures.
Exceptions will be made for leashed Service Animals.
Please email LunasaCascadia@gmail.com to request accommodations.

Are kids welcome?

This is an all ages event - your family is welcome! Attendees 17 and under get in FREE -
minors may be asked to verify age, and MUST be accompanied by an adult.

  • Some late-night performances may be PG-13 - Contact us for details -

What is ADA accessibility like for this event?

We have an ADA accessible portable restroom facilitiy and a limited number of camping spaces reserved for alter-abled attendees.
Please email LunasaCascadia@gmail.com if you need specific accommodations.
Please note :: The campgrounds have some drivable dirt roads, and dirt paths that are almost completely clear of obstructions,
and the stage area, parking area, and some walkways are grassy meadows.

Are bonfires/campfires allowed?

This area at this time of year is highly fire sensitive. As stewards of this land, we must honor and be careful with every flame.
There will be a single, central Ritual bonfire in Meadowland. Lúnasa Cascadia staff will be continuously tending that fire;
Individual bonfires and campfires are not allowed.

We will have camping stoves available for use in our Community Kitchen,
and if you prefer to use your own you’re more than welcome to use it in the Community Kitchen area.

Nature Advisory

The campgrounds are at a relatively high elevation and there is no issue with poison oak/ivy or similar plants in the area.
There are also no major concerns for stinging insects, yellowjackets/hornets, mosquitoes, etc.
We will have some allergy resources in the First Aid Tent, but please bring anything you may need if applicable, just in case.

The water in the beautiful Elder Pond is tested regularly and is safe for swimming,
but there is livestock on the land and very low levels of bacteria.
If you are medically predisposed to bacterial infection, please use caution.

Can anyone use the communal kitchen?

Yes! It's a communal kitchen for use by all attendees, volunteers, and performers.
Not only do we want to build community, but wildfires are a very real concern.
We're hoping that by providing this communal kitchen in a designated fire-safe zone,
we are reducing the chances that accidents can happen.
Bring food to share if you like!

Will there be food for sale?

We are offering 5-Day and Weekend Meal Plan options this year!
Meal Plans will include Lunches and Dinners Wedn-Sun, and there will be a meat-protein option as well as a
vegan/nightshade-free/gluten-free option for each meal.
Detailed menus are not available, but trust us- our talented Meal Team will make it awesome!
Please purchase your Meal Plan here at LunasaCascadia.com/Buy-Tickets

A wide variety of drink options will be available at the Infinity Bar, as well as espresso options at the Coffee Cart.
We are still taking applications for food carts and vendors!

Please feel free to bring any food and beverages you like with you!
