Lung Cancer Europe 11th Report Launch - The Mental Health Burden of Lung Cancer

Lung Cancer Europe will launch its 11th Report on mental health and lung cancer during ELCC 2026 in Copenhagen.

Building on findings from the largest global survey of its kind, this new report looks closely at where support is working, where it is still missing, and who is being left behind.

The 11th Report explores:

• differences in mental health impact across lung cancer types
• inequalities in access to support across European countries
• insights from people affected by lung cancer, including carers, on what support truly works in practice, and what does not

Mental health remains a significant and often unmet part of lung cancer care. This event will present new data, lived experience insights and clear areas for action.

The launch will include:

• a presentation of key findings from the 11th Report
• reflections from Emma Britton, sharing her perspective one year after a stage 4 lung cancer diagnosis
• reflections from Angeliki Souri, Vice President of Lung Cancer Europe
• expert insight from Valeria Sebri, psychologist and psychotherapist specialising in psycho-oncology
• a moderated discussion led by Melanie Da Coster, Head of Operations at Lung Cancer Europe
• time for questions and reflection

This is a free event, but it is ticketed and places are limited. Each attendee must book their own ticket, with one ticket per booking.
