WE'RE SO BACK, BABES!

During our hiatus we've been busy: tending to our art, continuing to organize for the liberation of our people, and dreaming deeply about the future. We missed being connected to a neighborhood, missed having a smaller, more intimate space, so now we have a new home at the California Clipper!

The show is 21+, grab a ticket online to guarantee entry, but tickets will be available (cash or card) at the door. As always, if you can't swing the ticket cost for whatever reason, DM us on instagram.

There will be ginger themed non-alcoholic specials, as well as the Clippers delicious selection of cocktails and other drinks. The Clipper does allow outside food, so feel free to bring or order a snack from a nearby spot if you like!

Doors: 7:00pm

Show: 7:30pm

Join us for Luya's monthly open mic! Sign-ups are first come first served, in-person and prioritize people of color. We center poetry, but we welcome storytelling, music, and other art forms, as well. Each performer gets about 3.5 minutes on the mic. If you have a track you’d like to play, please email it to our DJ. If you plan to play an instrument, please contact us so that we can make sure we have the proper tech setup for you.

Our theme is back on my bullsh*t - It's 2025 and if you weren't hip to the rise in fascism before, you sure are now. And we're back on our bullsh*t, caring for each other in ways the state can't, loud with our gender f*ckery and our queer trans love, resisting oppression and apartheid in all the ways we know how, organizing our communities, studying and learning to deepen our political analysis, and still looking hot while doing it. Like a persistent weed, they try to uproot us but we keep coming back.

The California Clipper has HEPA air filtration, an accessible building entrance, multi-stall gender neutral bathrooms, and a single stall accessible bathroom. There are stairs to access the stage, and we can arrange for you to perform elsewhere if needed, please DM us!
