Leeds Vocal Movement - The Way Through the Woods

This summer, we take you on a musical journey through the woodland.

Our repertoire features a mix of folk songs and well-known classics, such as Summertime, The Teddy Bears’ Picnic and Let’s Do It.

This concert is a true celebration of our wonderful woods - so grab your blankets, picnic baskets and teddy bears, and join us for an afternoon of joyful music!

This event will take place outdoors; please bring a picnic blanket or be prepared to stand as there is limited space for seating. If the weather is very wet, we'll move indoors.  The site is accessible, with woodchip paths - if you have specific queries, please contact us.

Please arrive from 4pm, at Meanwood Valley Urban Farm, Sugar Well Road, LS7 2QG. We will have an extended interval where you can enjoy refreshments and explore the woodland space, in collaboration with Yorkshire Woodland Learning and Development.

Reaching the venue:

By bus From Leeds city centre, catch the 38 or 39 and get off at Ridge Grove. Follow the signs to find the Farm - approximately a 5 minute walk.

By bike The farm is accessible by bike. Please use the cycle path that runs through the Farm.

By car There is a small car park with limited spaces.
