South and Mid Wales Regional Summer Gathering

We are excited to announce that this year’s South and Mid Wales Regional Gathering will be held at Greenfields Farm near Hay on Wye on Saturday 19th September! The Member Organiser group are planning an afternoon of land based information and inspiration sharing with fire, food, music and fun.

We are looking forward to a tour and discussion from the growers on ‘Market Gardening on a Shoestring’, as well as optional sessions on ‘Resilience in Landwork’ and ‘Song Writing with Nature’. We are opening the invitation to host other facilitated sessions during the afternoon; please get in touch on cymru@landworkersalliance.org.uk if you could facilitate a skills share, talk, craft event or presentation. All contributions are welcome and encouraged!

After the sessions, we will host a wholesome and hearty vegetarian meal in our open barn and roundhouse build, followed by our favourite musicians, Hawk Howard and Friends playing acoustic old time, bluegrass and folk. Bring your instruments and voices for an open session round the fire into the evening!
