Joe Block's Holiday Extravaganza!

For the past three years, composer Joe Block has presented

“Joe Block’s Holiday Extravaganza,” a special holiday-themed jazz show to sold out audiences at Dizzy’s Club in NYC (two sets) and Chris’ Jazz Cafe in Philadelphia (six sets) the show features two vocalists and a small big band, performing all original arrangements that Block wrote for the project. This show has now become a really special yearly tradition which we hope to bring back every year to Lyceum Hall!

The show blends swing, jazz, and seasonal favorites into a concert experience designed for both dedicated music fans and
broader holiday audiences.

Past vocalists featured on the project include Georgia Heers, Shabnam Abedi, Stella Katherine Cole, and Ekep Nkwelle.
