Burlington City Holiday Parade!
Sat Dec 7, 2024 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Lyceum Hall Center for the Arts, 08016
Description
The City of Burlington's annual Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony is December 7th at 5:00 pm. We will meet at Lyceum Hall Center for the Arts to line up for the parade at 4:00 pm. For the third time, Lyceum Hall Center for the Arts will have a float in the parade!! We invite you to join us for the fun! There is no cost to participate - this is an end of year celebration!
Our theme is The Polar Express! Gather your warmest and coziest winter or holiday pajamas and join us aboard Lyceum's Float
Calling all singers (all ages welcome)! If you would like to join us in song during the holiday parade, we will have three rehearsals prior to December 7th. We will be singing Hot Chocolate! From the Polar Express. We will learn the music during the first two rehearsals (some of you may already know it :-)). During the third rehearsal, we will record everyone's vocals! This is a great opportunity to enjoy a recording studio experience! The recording will play during the parade so that all parade guests can hear your beautiful voices!
*You may join us for the parade and opt out of singing. There are also opportunities to help with float construction.*
In addition to our Holiday Ceremony, we will featured our holiday parade performers at Lyceum Hall on Friday, December 13th! We would love for you to join us in signing Christmas carols for Lyceum Hall's festive craft market featuring goods sold by our very own Lyceum Studio students at 5:00 pm. Following the market, students are invited to sing "Hot Chocolate" as the Opening Act performance for A Joyful Jazzy Holiday with V. Shayne Frederick.
