About the Show
In this story, we follow our charming and lovable orphan, Annie, on her journey to find her parents, who left her in the care of the not-so-caring Miss Hannigan, who continually thwarts Annie's attempt to leave her tyrannical orphanage. After a timely visit from Grace Farrell, Annie is selected to visit the overly lavish and surprisingly welcoming estate of Oliver Warbucks, a millionaire looking to make good with his public image by adopting an orphan for the holidays.
Based on the popular comic strip and adapted from the Tony Award-winning
Best Musical, with a beloved book and score by Tony Award winners,
Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, Annie JR. features everyone’s favorite little redhead in her very first adventure.
