A summer camp favorite at Lyceum Hall - Puppet Theatre Camp!  Get ready to ROCK! This summer, bring your favorite pop or rock artists to life through  puppetry. Campers will devise a puppet show based pop-rock artists of yesterday and today! We will wrap up the week with a puppetry showcase on Friday! 

Do you watch in awe when puppets come alive with expression and personality?!  Our puppet campers will build puppets AND learn the basics of operating puppets. Before you know it it, your puppets will be breathing, dancing and more.  Let's make puppet magic.

This camp is designed for students in grades K - 8.  We will divide the camp into two age groups (K-4 and 5-8).  Camp will include puppet making and puppet supplies will be provided!

Puppet Camp hours are 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. We will snack and stretch each day at 10:30 AM. At 12:30 PM, we will break for lunch. Make sure to wear comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes (no flip flops or sandals). Don’t forget to bring your water bottle lunch and snack each day!  All camp weeks include workshops presented by guest artists. On Thursday of each week, we will take a trip to Ummm Ice Cream Parlor at 1:00 PM.

Camp week: August 25th - August 29th | 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Camp showcase:  Friday, August 29th at 2:30 PM and 6:00 PM

Daily Schedule:
9:00 AM - Theatre Games & Warm-Up
9:15 AM - Play Development/Showcase Rehearsal/Puppet Making
10:30 AM - Snack & Stretch (outdoor recess)
12:30 PM - Lunch
1:00 PM - Workshop (with guest artist) or Crafts ( props/set/costume creation)
2:00 PM - Showcase rehearsal
3:00 PM - Dismissal

Before care is available Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM. After care is available Monday - Thursday from 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM. Friday is showcase day and there is no aftercare available.
