Message in a Bottle Theatre Camp
August 10 - 14, 2026

Hello, seafarers! Theatre campers entering grades K - 5 are invited to explore the stories, dreams, science and adventure captured in messages drifting across the sea! We'll uncover secrets, write our own messages in a bottle and discover the history of releasing  messages into the ocean. Then, theatre campers will devise and rehearse an original "message in a bottle" script together!

Start your morning with theatre games and rehearsal for the camp showcase. After lunch, enjoy theatre workshops, as well as fine arts activities to make your own props, sets and costumes. Wrap up the week with a a family showcase on Friday!

Camp hours are 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. We will snack and stretch each day at 10:30 am. At 12:30 pm, we will break for lunch. Make sure to wear comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes (no flip flops or sandals). All camp weeks include workshops with guests artists (past workshops have included face painting, hip hop, puppetry and more!).
