The Musical Theatre Competition Troupe is now STAR Troupe (Student Theatre Arts Repertory Troupe)! Lyceum Studio's STAR Troupe is a professional student training ground for young theatre artists in grades 6-12. STAR Troupe is a 3-part program that offers flexibility while focusing on theatrical training with a competition component. This spring is part 3, the competition show! Join us for THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE!
Part I: Fall Workshop Series led by theatre professionals (Fall 2022)
Part II: Solo Competitions (Winter 2023)
Part III: Competition Show
The Troupe is an audition-only program directed by Danielle Klaus. All participants will be cast in one 20-minute musical for competition at Bucks County Student Theatre Festival (BCSTF). This year's competition show is The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
All registrants must audition after registering:
Rehearsals: Every Wednesday night from March 8th - April 19th | 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Bucks County Student Theatre Festival: April 20th (ALL DAY - students will be excused from school for an arts enrichment program) at Bucks County Playhouse
Performance at Lyceum Hall: April 21st and/or 22nd at 7:30 pm

Auditions will be held by appointment on March 3, 2023 from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm at Lyceum Hall Center for the Arts: 432 High Street, Burlington, NJ 08016.
Video Auditions will also be accepted and the deadline to submit is March 2nd. Submit your video and resume at the links provided (here and in your confirmation email). When recording, be sure to provide your name and the titles of the work you are performing.
FOR AUDITIONS: Student performers
should perform a brief musical theatre song (32 measures) and a
one-minute monologue. Material should be fully memorized.
Please
come prepared to sing with a backing track (live accompaniment will not
be provided). Bring the track on a smartphone, email it in advance of
your audition, or share a YouTube link upon arrival to your appointment.
