IWD Agency women networking brunch

For all women in the agency sector: founders, leaders, women employed by agencies, women working with agencies.

Connection. Inspiration. Action.

This is not just another 'celebratory' International Women's Day social event with no real purpose or impact.

As well as the opportunity to network with other amazing women in our industry, this event will be interactive, thought provoking and inspire you to take action. Real meaningful action. 

What you can expect:

• Networking with some awesome women in the agency sector - this is primarily a networking event. Expect relaxed, friendly and welcoming vibes. Re-connect with old friends and walk away with valuable new connections
• The IWD book swap - bring your inspirational pre-loved book (see below)
• A short talk from me on the status of gender equality in the agency sector and what can be done to improve it (I'll be sharing some 'hot-off-the-press', yet to be seen industry data!)
• Conversation starters and thought provoking topics
• A gorgeous venue, that is conveniently located for cross country travel (see details below)
• Pastries and teas/coffees to help fuel the conversation

Thames Lido, Napier Road, RG1 8FR

By train: Thames Lido is a short 5-10 minute walk from Reading railway station. Exit the station via the northern entrance, signed towards the long stay car park (not the main station car park). Reading is a major train hub with connections from London (including the Elizabeth Line), Oxford, Basingstoke, Birmingham, Bristol, Southampton.

By car: There is a small on-site car park, with limited spaces, offering free parking for 3 hours (£6 thereafter) - you will need to enter your registration number inside the building. Alternatively, there is a pay and display car park right next door on Napier Road, or another just across the bridge at Hills Meadow. Reading is a busy town! So allow plenty of time to find available parking.

NB:

• Also includes refreshments and pastries - please advise of any dietary requirements during the checkout process.
• We will be located on the first floor function room, which has lift access - please let me know if you have any further accessibility requirements.

This event is organised by Lynda Harvey Consulting and is priced to run at cost (hopefully!).
