Social meetup at The Surrey Society of Model Engineers (SSME)

SSME are a society for anyone interested in model engineering, although they mainly concentrate on miniature railways.

The club grounds are situated in a beautiful part of Surrey, close to the River Mole at the lower end of Leatherhead.

Their extensive tracks feature both ground and raised level, in many gauges, with a variety of different locomotives & rolling stock. Their 320 metre long Jubilee extension opened on the 4th June 2012, so giving a longer ride on every Public Open Day of which the date of our visit is one.

We have secured a party area which should have excellent views of train activity and has somewhere to sit and chat.  Please bring your own picnic.

Our tickets are free for this social event however please note that SSME charge £2 per ride.
