MA Centre: Spiritual Practices Day

We invite you to our Spiritual Practices Day held generally on the 1st Saturday of every month at Amrita Hall.

Amma regularly reminds us about the importance of Sadhana (spiritual practice) and these days allow us to observe more spiritual practice at the centre, and share the joy of seva together. 

*On this day we shall invite you to bring along a gift for children who are experiencing poverty this Christmas, by working with the charity Bromley Brighter Beginnings. Bring a new gift (or pre-loved but in excellent condition) 
un-wrapped & leave on the table. Examples: PJ's, Christmas jumpers, lego, dolls, puzzles, games etc.

We will also have plants for sale that were on stage at Amma's recent visit.

10:30 - 11:30 - Archana (Amrita Mandiram)
11:30 - 12:30 - White Flower Meditation, Seva etc
12:30 - 13.30 - Lunch
13:30 - 14:00 - * Give a gift & buy a gift
14:00 - 15:00 - New Comers session including Q&A, ashram tour
15:00 - 15:15 - Break (Mince pies and Christmas drink)
15:15 - 15:40 - Amrita Ganga / Amma’s message
15:40 - 17:30 - Bhajans
17:30 - 17:45 - Short Meditation & Arati
18:00 - End tidying seva, Prasad Meal

PARKING

MA Centre: Amrita Hall – Venue car park unavailable at present.

Entrance address, pedestrian only:
40a Letchworth Drive, Bromley BR2 9BE. (No parking in driveway)
Park on nearby roads. Check parking restrictions, which are in place at certain times along roads in the area (likely restrictions Mon – Sat 12.00 -14.00).

As of September 2025
Mead Way (BR2 9ER), Hayes Lane (BR2 9EE), Bourne Vale (BR2 7JW) and Barnhill Avenue (BR2 9DP) are not in the controlled zone, a short 15 minute walk away. Fair Acres may have a few spaces too. Sundays are likely an exception and no charges on nearby roads.
Norman Park, Hayes Lane BR2 9EF may be an alternative, with various opening and closing times. https://www.bromley.gov.uk/parksopeningtimes
