Amma Birth Star Chanting (Karthika)

Come together to chant on this special day of Karthika; held online and in person at the Amrita Mandiram, MA Centre, Bromley. 

A monthly birthday is traditionally observed in India based on the moon's position at the time of birth. Karthika is the Nakshatra (star constellation) in which the moon was transiting at the time of Amma's birth. Each time the moon returns to this spot (approximately every 28 days), it is considered to be a day of dedication to Amma and is celebrated by Her children around the world.

Archana (108 names and 1000 names) will be chanted for Karthika.
