Sri Krishna Jayanti Celebration

MA Centre UK welcomes you to our third Sri Krishna Jayanti celebrations, where we will celebrate the birth of Sri Krishna.

"Sri Krishna Jayanti is the sacred day when Lord Sri Krishna took avatar on this earth as the embodiment of strength and beauty. He gave this world the message of courageous action and pure love in all its fullness. Bhagavan Sri Krishna is the holy water that washes away the impurities of the mind. The mind becomes pure. True knowledge awakens. The dark-hued one, dressed in yellow raiment, wearing a peacock feather in his hair—he still shines as the protector of dharma and the guru of the world" - Amma

As part of the Sri Krishna Jayanti celebrations people can participate in Chanting of the Divine name with Devotional Singing, and Uriyadi (a traditional game where a pot filled with flowers and sweets is broken).

All are welcome regardless of age to participate in all or some of the activities.

🌸Janmashtami Art Invitation🌸:

If anyone is interested in drawing or painting Radha-Krishna or any beautiful Janmashtami-themed scene, you are most welcome to create it at home and bring it along with you to the programme.

🎨Your artwork will be displayed in the hall during the celebration for everyone to enjoy. We warmly welcome you to share your creativity! ✨

Parking onsite is limited, so leave plenty of time for parking on local roads, some may have restrictions and road works entrance to Letchworth Drive.
