The Mackenzie Caledonian Pipe Band is thrilled to announce the third installment of its highly anticipated recital series, featuring a landmark performance by Angus D. MacColl, the internationally celebrated piper from Benderloch, near Oban, on Scotland’s west coast.
Angus D. MacColl is regarded as one of the finest pipers of his generation, earning the title of the "King of the 2/4 Competition March" for his unmatched expertise in this celebrated west coast style of piping. His illustrious career is adorned with numerous prestigious accolades, including victories at the Glenfiddich Piping Championship and the Masters Solo Piping Competition. Known for his flawless technique, profound musicality, and deep connection to Scotland’s piping heritage, Angus consistently delivers performances that captivate and inspire.
This recital at the Woodlands Hotel offers a rare chance to experience Angus’s artistry in an intimate setting.
