We are delighted to announce that we are holding a day of wellbeing – The Great British Tea & Therapy Day, at Carden Park. This beautiful day is being held specifically for those living with cancer (either going through treatment or in remission). Places for carers will be made available after 1st August based on availability

A Restorative Retreat for People Living with and Recovering from Cancer
9 September 2026 | Shooting Suite Carden Park

Hosted by the Made for Life Foundation, this gentle and nurturing day brings together leading voices in wellbeing to support healing, connection and recovery.

Guests are welcomed into a safe, compassionate space to rest, reflect and reconnect—with themselves and with others who truly understand the journey.

    Hosted by Amanda Winwood and Emma Pridding (Spa Director, Carden Park), setting the tone for a day of care, safety and support.

    Guided by Jessica Sloyan (Slo-Yin Sound Baths), using sound and stillness to calm the nervous system.

    Led by Louise Baker MSc (Touch Works), exploring the science and emotional impact of therapeutic touch.
  • Therapeutic Touch Experience
    Experience elements of Touch Therapy™, including breathwork, gentle touch and guided relaxation.
  • Gentle Yoga for Restoration
    With Wendy Dineen, offering accessible, supportive movement for all abilities.
  • A Personal Story of Strength
    Sarah Pickles (The Butterfly Award) shares a powerful and moving personal journey.
  • Practical Wellbeing & Recovery Guidance
    With Stephen Price, focusing on rebuilding strength, confidence and self-care.
  • Connection, Reflection & Community
    Time to connect with others, enjoy nourishing food and experience a sense of belonging.
  • A Celebration of Humanity
    Closing with Jamie Edwards and the SpaFest Awards; honouring compassion, courage, kindness and inspiration.
