In this course you will create a complete wildlife painting that captures both animal and habitat. Learn how to compose, layer, and bring life to your subject with texture and movement. Whether you're joining for the first time or building on previous courses, this immersive day celebrates the vibrant connection between art and nature.
This course will be more tailor-made to your individual work than the previous courses. You can expect Charlotte's guidance and advice throughout the day if you have joined previous workshops, or specific demos for new participants.
Upon arrival, Charlotte will walk you through the tools and materials you'll use, and planning the composition/sketching the layout. Afterwards she'll guide you through some practices before you will start on your own canvases. This course focuses on animals in their context, bringing movement and life to their environments.
You will go home from this course with a palette knife, practice papers, 30x30cm Canvas.
Most materials for this course are covered, but we do ask you to bring the following with you:
- Apron or painting clothes
- Box to take the painting away
