Exploring Watercolour and Masking techniques

Transform your watercolours with masking resist techniques.

Enjoy the soft, flowing effect of watercolour while being able to preserve sharp lines and highlights. Create interesting patterns, fascinating textures and contrasts using a variety of fun methods, including masking fluid, tape, wax, stencil and oil pastel. Be inspired to see your creative process in a new light.

Suitable for beginners and those with some experience. Your tutor Joy will demonstrate and guide, using a friendly, relaxed and inclusive approach.

Joy has worked and taught in a variety of community settings. She has tertiary qualifications in art, textiles, health science (Leisure and Health) and adult education. Joy is committed to facilitating learning and recreational experiences that are fun and support participants’ personal goals.
