Special guest Neil Pearlman (Portland, ME) is a cross-genre pianist, step-dancer and host of the podcast TradCafe. Shauncey Ali (Madison, WI) is a dynamic fiddler and director of MadFiddle. In a rare duo performance, Pearlman and Ali present compositions penned by Ali.

MadFiddle is a youth fiddle ensemble that has become an anomaly of the Madison folk music scene.  Backing band Highway 151 features Chris Powers (mandolin), Bruce Anderson (guitar) and Pat Spaay (upright bass).  MadFiddle & Highway 151 open the evening with a set of Appalachian, Scandinavian, Brazilian, Scottish, Americana and modern folk tunes. 

The night will conclude with a super jam with over 50 performers.
