2025 Historic Preservation Awards
2025 Historic Preservation Awards
Madison Trust for Historic Preservation is pleased to honor projects, people and organizations in our community that demonstrate excellence in preservation.
Each year the Madison Trust highlights specific projects that show a high level of devotion to historic preservation through property owners, architects, designers, contractors or other participants. We also recognize individuals who have made outstanding contributions in activities that support the preservation and promotion of our cultural heritage.
We are very excited to be holding the 2025 Historic Preservation Awards at The Edgewater. We hope you will join us at this special event to help us celebrate our award recipients!

Historic Tour of The Edgewater
The historic tour of The Edgewater is an add-on to your ticket. Thanks for supporting our events!
The Edgewater Historic Tour offers a look into the property's history, covering its origins, its owners, and the impact of its original General Manager, Augie Faulkner. The tour highlights architectural features and the preservation work done to maintain the original Edgewater’s façade during the 2012-2014 expansion. It concludes with Scott Faulkner, longtime GM and son of Augie Faulkner, sharing stories about the many notable guests who have stayed over the years. This tour explains why The Edgewater is known as “Madison’s Place”.
*You will notice that the booking fee (ticketing site fee) and transaction fee (credit card fee) are included in the ticket price. As a small nonprofit, events such as this are a fundraiser and incorporating in their fees helps us continue these informative and enjoyable presentations.
A heartfelt thank you to The Edgewater for making our event possible in this stunning venue. In addition to hosting us in this beautiful space, The Edgewater is also a valued Tour Partner for our Mansion Hill East walking tour. We truly appreciate their generous support!
