New for 2025, LAST MANN STANDING is the island’s new toughman competition!

Designed to sort the wheat from the chaff and the big fish from the plankton, we’ve designed Last Mann Standing to be the survival of the fittest — a true acid test of Manx strength, toughness, accuracy, and endurance.

There are big cash prizes on offer for the winners, and more importantly, the absolute prestige of lifting the Last Mann Standing trophy and the honour of being named the toughest on the Rock for 2025.

The inaugural edition of Last Mann Standing features the following gruelling stages for competitors to battle through, with points accumulated on the leaderboard until we whittle out the weak links and crown our champions:

💪 Arm Wrestling Tournament
The pub classic gets a competitive twist with its inclusion in our gauntlet. Overseen by judges, with strict rules, who’ll buckle under the pressure and who’ll hold steady?

🛞 Sledgehammer Smash
A fierce test of your mettle — who’ll come out on top in this epic stamina challenge?

🪓 Axe Throwing Trial
It’s only right that axe throwing found its way into the mix at Mad Jack’s. With weary muscles, you’ll be tasked with sharpshooting maximum points by hurling the weaponry at the wooden boards. A test of your nerve as well as your aim.

🪵 The Logger Lift
Deadlifting, lumberjack style. A punishing combination of explosive strength and fortitude!

Depending on interest, we may add other categories before the entry deadline (see below).

HOW TO ENTER:

➡️ Competitor entry is £15 per person (£10 per person for the Under-18s competition).

➡️ Spectator entry is FREE with a complimentary online ticket — come and cheer on your friends or family!
