Women's Empowerment Mentor Network - Mahj for Mentorship

Join us for an evening of mahjong, connection, and community while supporting the Women’s Empowerment Mentor Network (WEMN)! This special fundraiser benefits the WEMN Scholarship Fund, helping provide scholarships and mentorship opportunities for young women across Northwest Arkansas.

Lindsey Fraser of Mahjong Mama NWA will provide beautiful mahjong tiles and thoughtfully curated tablescapes for an unforgettable evening of Open & Guided Play at Loma in Rogers.

This event is open to players of all experience levels with multiple ticket options available. Not a mahjong player? Join us anyway with a Social Ticket. Please note this is not a lesson. Mahjong Mama will be available to answer questions throughout the evening, but participants should have a basic understanding of gameplay. Whether you’re newer to mahjong or a seasoned player, this is the perfect opportunity to build confidence, meet other players, and enjoy a fun night around the table.

Social Ticket - Grab a Social Ticket and come for the fun. Mingle, sip, eat, and enjoy the evening while supporting a great cause. Does not include mahjong play.

Open Play - Open to all experience levels, but players must have a basic understanding of gameplay and be able to play independently. No guidance provided. 

Guided Play - Jump right into hands-on learning with guidance throughout the evening, including the Charleston, blind passes, strategy, hand selection, and gameplay. This option of play is perfect for players looking to build onto their mahjong knowledge or refresh their skills after some time away from the game. At least one prior American Mahjong lesson required.

We welcome NMJL rules, blanks, messy mahj, and towers—play the style you enjoy!

What to Expect:

    ●    Additional food and beverages available for purchase (no outside food or drinks permitted)
    ●    One Raffle Ticket included toward prizes, with additional raffle tickets available for purchase
    ●    Bring your 2026 NMJL card or borrow one at the event

About WEMN

The Women’s Empowerment Mentor Network (WEMN) is a Northwest Arkansas-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2024 that provides multi-year mentoring pathways for young women from high school through early career. Through mentorship, leadership development, financial literacy, personal branding, mental wellness, and community engagement, WEMN equips young women with the skills, confidence, and support they need to thrive. Graduating senior mentees also receive a $1,000 scholarship to help launch their next chapter.
