This event is open to all experience levels. Please note this is not a beginner lesson, all players should have a basic understanding of gameplay. No need to be an experienced player — this is the perfect setting to build confidence and get more comfortable at the table. NMJL rules, blanks, messy, or towers are all welcome!

Open Play - Open to all experience levels but players must have a basic understanding of gameplay in order to play independently. Sit with your friends or be grouped with other players of like playing level. 

Guided Play (Mahjong 102) - Move straight into hands-on learning during the deal, complete Charleston with introduction to blind passes, strategy, hand selection, and guided play. This option is perfect for those that want to build onto their Mahjong knowledge while asking questions along the way, or need a refresher after some time away from the game. At least one prior American Mahjong lesson required.
