Private Lessons are available! 

 Lessons are $60pp for Intro to American Mahjong, and I prefer to teach in groups of 6-12.  I bring all the equipment and materials to play (including a beginner’s card), the hostess supplies the table and chairs.

• How many people you’d likely have at the event?

Things you need to know!

• I suggest that everyone arrives at least 30 minutes to my arrival so they have plenty of time to snack, sip and socialize.
• A 48 inch round table is ideal, but I can make it work with a rectangular table or a slightly larger round table. Depending on the size of the group, I can bring an extra card table.  
• It will only take me a few minutes to set up for the lesson.   
• The lesson usually lasts 2.5-3 hours.  30ish minutes of presentation of information, 30ish minutes of learning to read the playing cards and exercises, then 1.5-2 hours for an open handed guided game.   
• I usually recommend a follow up lesson within the first two weeks if possible to help with retention of the information.  That is $40pp, and can be a private lesson or you can come into the studio, which is usually Wednesday’s. 
• You can place a temporary reservation and we will coordinate details via email.  If you place a reservation and we have not confirmed details within 48 hours, the reservation will be re-released.  A reservation is temporary and in no way is a commitment or contract of service.
