In November 2024 the Mahler Players continue our Wagner series with Act 3 from Parsifal. Wagner’s final work, it contains some of his most moving and uplifting music.
The orchestra will be joined once again by an extraordinary line-up of voices, including legend of the operatic stage Sir John Tomlinson as Gurnemanz. We also welcome Julian Hubbard in the title role and Paul Carey Jones as Amfortas.
Whether you are a seasoned Wagnerian or a newcomer to his work, we invite you to join us in the distinctive surroundings of Inverness Cathedral and Strathpeffer Pavilion to be enthralled and captivated by Wagner’s “Festival Play for the Consecration of the Stage” with our wonderful orchestra, chorus and some of the most extraordinary singers of our time.
