To open our 2024/25 season, and appearing for the first time as a full symphony orchestra, we present a special performance of Bruckner’s Fourth Symphony and Mozart’s Overture to The Magic Flute. Our concert celebrates two anniversaries this year: the 200th of the birth of Anton Bruckner and the 150th of the consecration of Inverness Cathedral.

Often dubbed a “cathedral in sound”, Bruckner’s Romantic symphony is one of the highpoints of orchestral music. Paired with the alternating grandeur and gracefulness of Mozart’s Magic Flute overture, this will be an afternoon concert to relish.
