Mark Bateson, archivist with the Kent Archives and Local History Service introduces the historic collections in the care of KALHS and shares some of the weird and wonderful real-life stories they contain.

This popular event books up fast each year. Please note that there is a tour which follows this event, but capacity is limited. The talk can be attended separate to the tour, which does run regularly outside of the festival programme.
