For over 30 years, the Mainly Mozart All-Star Orchestra has been home to the largest gathering of Concertmasters and Principal Players in the United States. The famed Mainly Mozart Festival boasts top level players from the world’s greatest orchestras including the New York Philharmonic, Cleveland Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, Israel Philharmonic and dozens more. Since 2013, the Mainly Mozart Youth Orchestra has been a core element of Mainly Mozart's music education and outreach programs. The Mainly Mozart Youth Orchestra serves over 300 students from across San Diego County. Students audition for and are placed into seven ensembles ranging from beginners to advanced high school artists. Students rehearse weekly September through may in Solana Beach, are led by seasoned music educators and professionals, and present numerous public and private concerts.
