Description
OLD GOD
It's the cultural event of the Apocalypse...
Old God is a foppish, irreverent oracle. A singer of doom. A weaver of myth. A being so old they have forgotten their own name.
With beautiful costuming, painted canvas backdrop and fancy golden foot lights this white face clown seems to have pranced out of the theater houses of the 1800’s.
Pantomime is performed alongside improvisational feats of language. No one can keep up as Old God buries the audience beneath a sea of imagery and play spinning wildly in topic but elegantly in body.
Thursday, March 13 - 8pm

Performed by Alec Jones-Trujillo and Directed by Gabe McKinney, this pair of Gazillionaires (each having racked up thousands of performances hosting ABSINTHE at CAESARS PALACE, Las Vegas) built a show around Alec’s incredible skills and unique experience: years of formal mime training, clown school and dance training, stand-up comedy and improv, mastery of physical movement and verbal improvisation.
Drawing on their individual experiences in clown school (SF Circus Center, Dell’Arte International, respectively) and their time together as founding members of the original, groundbreaking Los Angeles improv/clown group Wet The Hippo (Directed by John Gilkey), Jones-Trujillo and McKinney set out to make a show they each wanted to see but that didn’t seem to exist.
