Majesty Assembly for the Soul of France

Each of our nations, beyond its shadows, patterns, and self-interest, holds a sacred principle in its heart.

In Majesty, we understand each nation has a soul that is on a journey of unfolding its unique gift to the world.

Each represents one facet of humanity’s collective journey, all unfolding within the wider living Earth.  

And of course, it’s nation has its own ego structure, complete with habits, shadows and traumas.

In Majesty, our sense is that a major factor in the current global crisis is the patterns, shadows, and traumas of our different nations playing out on the global stage.

And while many people are calling for a shift away from nation-states to alternative models - from bioregions to city states to network states - we believe nations will continue to play a significant role in humanity’s future, and that what is truly needed is their healing, evolution, and awakening.

Today, the political left and right are at war around the place of our nations in humanity’s collective life.

While both contain concerns for solidarity, belonging, freedom, and international cooperation, many on the left see the role of nations as integration within the wider global community, with an emphasis on diversity, inclusion, and global participation. Many on the right push back on this, critiquing it for leading our societies into social fragmentation, cultural erosion, and the loss of national identity. The right today increasingly advocates that nations should focus on their internal identity, cohesion, and prosperity. All of which are critiqued by many on the left as leading into racism, xenophobia, and nationalism.

In Majesty, we see national soul work as a powerful middle way between these two extremes. When nations can align with their soul, it coheres people in a sense of collective identity which is also dedicated to service to the wider whole.

For this work to happen, it will require wider and wider groups of people to start to attune to the unique sacred principles alive in the soul of their nation, which can ensure the most integrated and prosperous life for its citizens, and empower its service to the world.

Through national soul work, the way our different nations are showing up on the global stage can evolve, from protection and defence of their own self-interests to service and contribution within the wider Earth system.

This the basis upon which our different nations can take their place within the collective governance of the living Earth.

ASSEMBLIES FOR THE SOULS OF OUR NATIONS SERIES

This event is part of a series of Majesty Assemblies for the Souls of our Nations.

These Assemblies seek to catalyse new political movements aligned with the souls of our nations - movements that support their healing, nurture their evolution, and express their deeper purpose in service to their people, humanity, and the living Earth.

These Assemblies also seek to advance Majesty’s work by building connected movements across nations, each rooted in its nation’s soul and capable, when the time is right, of evolving into a coherent political party within Majesty’s wider transnational movement.

THE FOCUS OF THIS EVENT: AN ASSEMBLY FOR THE SOUL OF FRANCE

France has contributed profoundly to humanity’s collective life. From liberty, equality, and fraternity to its gifts in philosophy, art, science, and the art of living, France has helped shape our understanding of freedom, dignity, beauty, and human possibility. Today, its cultural creativity, scientific achievements, and central role in European cooperation continue to influence the world.

Yet these gifts exist alongside unresolved wounds: colonialism, exclusion, inequality, and the distance between universal ideals and people’s lived experience.

France now stands at a consequential threshold. Widespread protests, riots, and political polarisation reveal deep fractures in its shared life. The prospect of the far right coming to power raises urgent questions about national identity, belonging, and democracy. As a central power within the European Union and Eurozone, France’s direction could profoundly affect European solidarity, economic stability, and the wider world.

What might France’s deeper gifts offer at this moment? How might liberty, equality, and fraternity become more fully lived realities? And how might national belonging support solidarity across differences and service to the living Earth?

This Assembly welcomes those who are French and all who feel connected to France, including those whose connection carries grief or pain. Through contemplation, listening, and shared inquiry, we will make space for its gifts, wounds, and emerging possibilities—and explore how alignment with its soul might inspire a renewed political contribution to humanity and the Earth.

ABOUT MAJESTY

Majesty is an emerging transnational political movement building a network of political parties across nations to represent the living Earth in democratic government.

Our current approaches to politics, leadership, and governance are based in a paradigm of separation that assumes human supremacy, incentivises national self-interest, and allows humanity to violate multiple planetary boundaries.

And all while issues like geopolitical conflicts, economic confrontation, wealth inequality, migration, unregulated AI, mental health, and resource distribution characterise an unprecedented time of existential risk.

We perceive that at the core of the crisis of our times a fundamental misalignment between how humanity organises power and the living systems we are part of.

PROCESS LEAD

Jon Eden Khan is a transformational leader, mentor, and facilitator, living in his beloved home city of Berlin.

Jon is initiator of Majesty, a transnational political party dedicated to realigning power with the living Earth.

He is also founder of AVATARA, an international spiritual community dedicated to humanity’s collective awakening and its expression through new approaches to leadership, consciousness, and economics.

And he mentors soul-driven leaders, from top corporate business leaders and FinTech trailblazers, to LGBT rights activists in the Middle East, to some of the most respected facilitators of transformational self-development work in the world.

Between 2016-2018 Jon worked as European Director of the Global Purpose Movement, and in 2014, he co-founded Synergy Forum, an initiative focussed on the integration of spiritual awakening, social innovation and systems transformation. Between 2012-2015 he worked as part of the leadership team of Zero Point Six in Interlaken, Switzerland, exploring how a deeper understanding of spiritual awakening can inform efforts toward global transformation.

Jon’s path has allowed him to experience a wide spectrum of the human experience. From dropping out of school at age 13 to attend a centre for troubled youths, to 5 years of homelessness and heroin addiction in his early 20’s to getting clean alone in a room over 6 months. From re-entering education and going on to turn down a PhD with one of the foremost universities in the world, to dedicating himself fully to self-development, healing his traumas and service, to co-leading international projects dedicated to humanity’s collective awakening through new approaches to leadership, power, and purpose.
